Holocaust Education Trust Ireland, in association with Dublin City Council.

Six Stolpersteine (stumble stones) will be embedded in Dublin in memory of six Irish victims of the Holocaust: Ettie Steinberg Gluck, her husband Wojteck, and their baby son Leon, along with Isaac Shishi, Ephraim Saks and his sister, Jeanne (Lena) Saks. The Stolpersteine will be embedded on 1 June 2022 at 10:30 am, outside St Catherine’s National School, Donore Avenue, South Circular Road, Dublin 8.

Created by Gunter Demnig in 1992, Stolpersteine are brass-topped cobblestones embedded in the pavement outside a home or building of significance pertaining to a Holocaust victim. Gunter Demnig will be in attendance at the event to unveil these new Stolpersteine.
